Our History (back) Founded in 1998, Minneapolis-based Practical Leadership quickly grew into a specialty HR strategy and development consulting firm serving local and national client base. In the early years, we concentrated on the casino and hospitality industries. Our refreshingly practical approach earned us the respect of clients and a high rate of referrals. In 2000, Practical Leadership merged with Johnson Consulting. This expanded our HR capabilities to include employee benefit planning. Within 3 years, we formed Practical Benefits, a wholly owned insurance agency designed to satisfy clients’ need for benefit plan design, implementation and administration. Today, we serve corporate, professional organizations, and government clients across the US. We are recognized for our depth of expertise, our ability to align employees with management’s vision, and our real-world leadership development skills. |
